Beta Studio: The Figures develops a series of community pavilions on the Elwood Community House Reserve, a bayside Melbourne suburb. Building on the figure-ground framework from earlier assignments, the pavilions are refined as a cohesive family of architectural elements — considering materiality, construction, façade openings, and their relationship to the surrounding landscape and climate.
